Our Founder

Karen Fabiola Gutiérrez Pereyra currently leads KG+ Studio, where she specializes in Architecture, Planning, BIM Management, and Interior Design. With over 10 years of experience in the public and private sectors, she is dedicated to creating quality, sustainable, and honest architecture. Her projects emphasize innovation and the use of BIM technology, enabling her to collaborate on complex, large-scale projects with other architecture studios, engineering firms, and construction companies. Leading a team of excellent professionals, Karen ensures each project is tailored to achieve the best results.

From 2002 to 2010, Karen worked with renowned architecture firms in Spain, including Carlos Ferrater and F2M, where she was involved in all project phases, such as strategic design planning, comprehensive project communication, and project stage interventions. Concurrently, she collaborated with Vain S.A., a construction company in Chile, leading Special Projects and authoring the luxury apartment project "Camino La Fuente" in Las Condes, Santiago.

Karen's expertise extends to developing architectural and urban planning projects, participating in public and restricted architectural competitions, managing projects, and overseeing economic, technical, and construction execution aspects. She excels in planning, coordinating, and managing teams, continually updating her knowledge in architectural and technical projects, especially in new technologies.

She is a licensed architect with the Colegio de Arquitectos de Barcelona and the Colegio de Arquitectos de Santa Cruz de la Sierra - Bolivia. Her academic background includes a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Universidad Privada de Santa Cruz de la Sierra, an architect certification from the Universidad de Sevilla, a Master's in Design and Context, and a Master's in Architecture and Sustainability from the Universidad Politécnica de Catalunya. She also holds a Ph.D. in New Tools for Architecture and a Diploma of Research Proficiency from the same institution.

Karen's architectural philosophy is centered on improving people's lives, transforming environments, influencing society, and creating culture. Her purpose is to realize clients' dreams while being sensitive to environmental conditions and needs.
